Leigh, owner of The Paw Sitter, has been providing pet care since 2011 for now over 250 clients. She began singing in a wedding band in 2007 and has performed at over 300 weddings in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. She also sang at a *dog* wedding in Boca Raton, Florida in 2018 (canine bride pictured below in her beautiful dress)! So, it only made sense to combine these two areas of expertise and offer wedding and event pet care attendant services!
Custom Wedding/Event pet handling includes:
- Meeting (a few weeks before the wedding).
- Secured pet transport from home to the ceremony, reception or session.
- Handling and supervising the pet, including potty breaks, water, treats, dressing if applicable
- White leather “I Do Too” dog leash rental pictured here.
- Insured, pet CPR certified handler, dressed appropriately.
- Assisting with pet’s duties: ring bearer, photo shoots, walking down isle, greeting guests, etc.
- Day-of coordinating with planners and venue staff.
- Returning the pet home and feed dinner if needed.
Rates are Custom. Base Rate Includes:
- Wedding day packages start at $275 for 3 hours, pickup to drop-off
- One dog (or 2 dogs under 20 pounds each)
- First 75 miles round-trip from Stow
- Additional mileage is $.55/mile
- Engagement photo sessions, save the date sessions, rehearsal, other events start at $100 depending on travel/transport.
3 hour minimum allows for travel time before and after, 1 hour early arrival before ceremony and 1 hour ceremony.
If you’ve determined your behaved and well-socialized pet is a good fit to be involved in your wedding and checked with your venue to make sure they are pet-friendly, fill out our Event Inquiry Form to inquire on availability! We have limited availability for this service.
50% deposit is required to book. Balance due 30 days before event. No refunds after 30 days prior to date. Bookings within 30 days of event: $100 fee.
