Yes, EVERY visit includes basic home care tasks. We always bring in any mail or packages we see. We water the plants you ask us to water. We walk through accessible areas to check for any mishaps (closed doors remain closed). And if you stop your mail delivery, we'll still check the mailbox by habit (and almost always find something in there at least one of the days!)

Yes, we will send you a journal after EVERY visit, unless you request for less frequent updates. These journals include photos, notes, and check lists.

We will try our best for established clients, yes! This will depend on our schedule and sitter availability that day. There is a $5 fee for booking 36 hours or less in advance to compensate for admin time and sitter schedule changes. We appreciate bookings at least a week in advance and 2-4 weeks in advance for holidays. If you are looking for first-time service however, we need at least a day or two to onboard and meet.

Payment is due up front weekly or the day service begins. 50% deposit required for  holidays. We prefer payment via credit card but also accept cash or check. $25 returned check fee. When you enter and save your card into our scheduling system, each invoice will auto-charge on the due date so you never have to think about it!

Possibly, but the great thing about using a small team of sitters means your pets will still be cared for should any emergency arise. Your initial meeting with be with your one or two main sitters, and going forward your main sitter will introduce our other team members to your pets should the need arise.

It's important that we have two ways into the home so that we have a backup. We cannot rely solely on using the garage door or a coded door, because electricity goes out, keypads stop working, batteries die, etc. Usually clients give us two keys to keep on file for the next time you need us, or a code plus a backup key.
